Services · Management & Survey

Kept in class. Bought with eyes open.

Two things decide whether a yacht is a joy or a burden: keeping her right, and never buying her blind. We handle both — and we're paid to be honest about each.

Most brokers sell you the yacht and vanish. The work starts after.

Owning a yacht well is two disciplines the brochure never mentions: keeping her compliant, safe and in class year after year — and, before you ever sign, knowing exactly what you're buying. We do both, with the same person, to the same standard: the truth.

IYacht Management

Everything an owner shouldn't have to think about.

Yachting regulation grows more complex every year. We keep your yacht's flag, class and certification on schedule — coordinating with the registry, the class society and the specialists each step needs — at the optimum balance of cost and performance, so your time is spent aboard, not on paperwork — wherever she sails. Med summers, Caribbean winters, an Atlantic crossing between: the flag doesn't care where you are, and neither do we.

An experienced network — the captains, surveyors and specialists we appoint and answer for — coordinated through one point of contact. One standard. Yours.

A fixed annual retainer, scope and fee agreed up front — no surprises. The captain calls; we answer.

IIPre-Purchase Condition Survey

We'll tell you what's wrong with her before you fall in love.

Once your offer is accepted and the Memorandum of Agreement is signed, we appoint an independent, qualified marine surveyor to inspect her in full, wherever in the world she lies. You receive their official report on her true condition — and our plain-English read on what it means for your offer. Three stages, nothing skipped.

01

Out of the Water

  • Hull bottom and topsides
  • Moisture & ultrasonic thickness
  • Thermography & hammer testing
  • Propellers, shafts & bearings
  • Thrusters, stabilisers, anodes
  • Through-hulls & underwater gear
02

In the Water

  • Decks & deck equipment
  • Accommodation & interior
  • Internal structure
  • Engines, generators & machinery
  • Navigation, electrical & piping
  • Safety equipment & certificates
03

Sea Trials

  • Engine performance across the range
  • Operation at various RPM
  • Vibration & noise levels
  • Steering & auxiliary systems
  • How she really handles at sea
  • Full navigational performance

A detailed official report follows every survey — the yacht's description, her condition, the surveyor's findings and photographs — and our honest read on what it means: buy, renegotiate, or walk away. Typically completed within days of haul-out, for a fixed fee agreed up front — a fraction of the yacht's price, and routinely a fraction of what it saves you.

True condition

Understand the real state of the vessel before you commit — no unexpected costs.

Insurance

The report secures appropriate cover and can lower your premiums.

Resale advantage

A professional survey adds credibility — and buyer confidence — when you sell.

Why It Has to Be Honest

The broker who earns when you buy shouldn't be the one telling you to.

So we keep the two apart: an independent surveyor we appoint, never us — and a broker who will tell you to walk away from a bad boat, even when walking away costs us the deal. That's the whole point of us. Anyone can sell you a yacht. We'd rather you bought the right one.
